South of Del Amo Blvd. and bordering the eastern and western sides of the Los Angeles River.
SOURCE OF WATER:
Controlled flows from the Los Angeles River low flow channel and uncontrolled flows from storm drains.
REMARKS:
East side basin used for flood regulation with some water conservation storage. Intake capacity is 20 cfs for low flow diversion from the Los Angeles River. The west side basin is fed by a 42-inch siphon from the east side basin.
