Santa Anita Debris Dam Seismic Strengthening Project

• Project Scope:
  This project places riprap and upstream and downstream dam faces, and places filter material and drainage on the right embankment. This project also raises the spillway by 4 feet to increase basin storage capacity and relocates the access road. Finally, a new control house, control system, gate controls, and outlet pipe liner will be installed.

  Improved management of stormwater runoff and flood protection to the downstream communities, and increases recharge of the local groundwater basin
