Rubio Wash Channel Improvements

• Project Scope:
  This project consists of construction of a 24 feet wide by 10 feet high reinforced concrete open box within the existing 26 feet wide by 6 feet 3 inches high reinforced concrete open channel from Pine St to 100 feet west of San Gabriel Blvd. The project is located within Flood Control District right of way, in the City of San Gabriel.
• Project Benefits:
  The project will reduce flood risk for the surrounding area, increase flood capacity, and increase the flood control system reliability.
• Community Engagement:
  Community outreach is not necessary due to the minimal traffic impact associated with the installation of the improvements.
• Project Location:
  Rubio Wash Between Pine St and 100 feet west of San Gabriel Blvd. in the City of San Gabriel.
• Cost Estimate:
  - Total Project: $2,766,000 - Construction: $1,200,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 15 direct and indirect jobs.
