Hacienda Channel - La Plata Avenue Drain

• Project Scope:
  Approximately 3500 linear feet of storm drain pipe will be replaced and realigned with high density plastic pipes in the community of Hacienda Heights.
• Project Benefits:
  Storm drains along La Plata Avenue in Hacienda Heights have developed mineral deposits, causing major reduction in storm drain capacity. Pressure in the manholes is causing water to back up onto and damage the roadway. The new plastic pipes will eliminate the capacity issue and reduce the frequency of maintenance for these drains.
