Baldwin Lake and Tule Pond Restoration Project

• Project Scope:
  The project will restore Baldwin Lake and Tule Pond within the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden, located within the City of Arcadia. The restoration project will include sediment removal, shoreline stabilization, and restoration of the lake's historical wall and water quality features including hydrodynamic separators and media filtration units
• Project Benefits:
  The project will improve water quality, increase stormwater detention, eliminate erosion of the shoreline, restore the aquatic ecosystem, create habitat, and preserve the history of the site.
• Community Engagement:
  - Several meetings with the Arboretum Foundation and Save the Baldwin Lake Task Force were held. - Outreach and Engagement Plan has been developed

  Total Project Cost: $29,100,000 Construction Cost: $19,800,000
