Santa Anita Dam Emergency Access Road Stabilization Project

• Project Scope:
  The project will mitigate impacts to the dam from the Bobcat Fire by stabilizing the dam's damaged access road and restore vehicular access for maintenance, debris management, and sediment removal activities. Project includes construction of ground anchors, rock bolts, slope drains, shotcrete and a steel mesh reinforcing system on the road¿s slopes.
• Project Benefits:
  Initial construction stabilization of the road will be completed in October 2021 allowing limited restoration of vehicular traffic on the road. Project will be completed in April 2022, and will re-establish full vehicular access to the dam.
