LA River Headwaters Pavilion Project

  • Project Scope:
    The Project proposes to construct a Tier II Pavilion, which will serve as an entryway access point to the LA River trail and provide various amenities such as seating, educational signage, drinking fountains, restrooms, trash receptacles, and water quality improvements.
  • Project Benefits:
    The project area was identified as a major project zone in the recently adopted LA River Master Plan with multiple potential project opportunity sites. In addition, the State identifies adjacent communities as Disadvantaged and Severely Disadvantaged. The Project elements would help address the needs within this area including access; flood risk reduction; parks; water supply; education; ecosystems; art and culture; and water quality.

    Project construction supports direct and indirect jobs.
