LAC-USC Recuperative Care Center

  • Project Scope:
    On 9/4/18, the Board established the LAC+USC Medical Center Restorative Care Village (RCV) project. This project included a Recuperative Care Center (RCC) and 4 Residential Treatment Program (RTP) facilities. The RCC represents 45% of the total square footage of the RCV project. The RCC entails the construction of a 4-story modular/pre-fabricated building with 96 beds, and associated administrative, storage, activity, and support space. Additionally, the project will develop the site to provide for utilities, landscaping and artwork improvements, walkways, and driveway approaches to serve the facility and surrounding health care facilities. The project also includes the demolition of the MRI building, demolition of a concrete utility shack, and the relocation of an existing vacated trailer.
