Santa Fe Av-Artesia Bl to Del Amo Bl

• Project Scope:
  The primary objective of this project is to resurface and reconstruct Santa Fe Av from Artesia Bl to Del Amo Bl. -Reconstruction of curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways, and curb ramps. -Modification of traffic signals. UPRR intends to raise elevation of railroad crossing south of 91 freeway. This is affecting roadway design schedule.
• Project Benefits:
  The project will improve pavement drivability and durability for a heavily travelled industrial corridor.
• Community Engagement:
  A business outreach meeting will be held to inform and alert local businesses to the upcoming construction. A project information flyer will be sent after the project is awarded, and a pre-construction brochure will be provided a week prior to start of construction.
• Project Location:
  Unincorporated County community of Rancho Dominguez and City of Compton.
• Cost Estimate:
  - Total Project: $3,500,000 - Construction: $1,750,000 - Federal Grant Funds: $1,800,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 22 direct and indirect jobs.
