Huntington Drive - San Gabriel Bl/132' West of Michillinda Avenue

Project Scope:The proposed 1.3-mile-long road improvement project provides various roadway and parkway improvements along Huntington Drive. - Reconstruct the existing roadways, damaged curb, gutters, sidewalks, and curb ramps. - Construction of new storm drain. - Install buffered bike lanes along Huntington Drive within the project limits. - Install a new traffic signal at intersection with Madre St/Muscatel Av - Install new landscaping and hardscaping within the medians. Includes removal of nine trees and planting nine new trees.

Project Benefits:Improves quality of life for residents and lessens wear and tear on vehicles; improves pedestrian access.

Community Engagement:A project information flyer/meeting invitation was provided just after the project was awarded that described planned construction phasing and included the project website.

Project Location:Communities of East Pasadena, Northeast San Gabriel and the City of Arcadia.

Cost Estimate:- Total Project: $8,900,000 - Construction: $5,220,000 - Grant Funds: $4,278,500

Economic Impact:Project construction supports 64 direct and indirect jobs.
