
Los Angeles River Bike Path Phase 2

Project Scope:Construction of a bike path along the Los Angeles River between Lankershim Blvd and Barham Blvd. The bike path is located on the south side of the LA River. At the west end, the bike path will run through a proposed tunnel under Lankershim Blvd and ramp up to join southbound Lankershim Blvd. At the east end, the bike path will connect to southbound Barham Blvd through a spiral ramp.

Project Benefits:The project promotes active transportation and improves public health by providing a bike path connection between two major streets. It encourages residents to use alternative modes of transportation and choose active living.

Community Engagement:A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided just after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.

Cost Estimate:- Total Project: $13,500,000 - Construction: $9,000,000

Economic Impact:Project construction supports 124 direct and indirect jobs.
