  The proposed work includes preventive maintenance and minor repairs to 11 bridges. Preventive maintenance is a sustainable practice that offers a cost effective way to preserve, extend, and maximize the useful life of bridges.
• Community Engagement:
  A pre-consruction brochure will be provided a week prior to the start of construction.
• Project Location:
  Various bridges within the cities of Hawthorne, Gardena, Huntington Park, Los Angeles, Pico Rivera, Santa Fe Springs, Downey, Commerce, Santa Monica, Bell, and the surrounding unincorporated areas.
• Cost Estimate:
  Total Project: $3.1 million Contract Cost: $2.1 million
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 14 direct and indirect jobs.
