Project Scope:The primary objective of this project is to install bicycle facilities to promote active modes of transportation: - Bike paths along Big Dalton Wash between Irwindale Ave and Lark Ellen Ave and between Arrow Hwy and Citrus Ave - Class IV on Irwindale Ave, Arrow Hwy, and Lark Ellen Ave - High-visibility crosswalks and wayfinding signage at various locations - Pocket parks at the channel entrances - Landscape along the bike path

Project Benefits:This bikeway project will improve access for bicyclists to schools, parks and hospitals in the area and provide interconnectivity with the adjoining cites.

Community Engagement:Community meetings were held on June 20, 27, and September 14, 2019 to present the project to the community.

Project Location:Unincorporated County community of Vincent; Cities of Azusa, Covina, Irwindale, and West Covina.

Cost Estimate:- Total Project: $10,700,000 - Construction: $7,110,000 - Reimbursable State Grant Funds: $3,500,000

Economic Impact:Project construction supports 39 direct and indirect jobs.
