Eaton Wash Bike Path - Phase 1

Project Scope:The primary objective of this project is to construct Class I bike path along the westerly access road of Eaton Wash Channel from Rosemead Boulevard to Las Tunas Drive and from Elm Avenue to Longden Avenue, and Class III bike route along Muscatel Avenue from Las Tunas Drive to Elm Avenue.

Project Benefits:The implementation of this project will improve quality of life for residents by improving regional mobility and safety of bicyclists and pedestrians.

Community Engagement:A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided just after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.

Project Location:Unincorporated County community of Northeast San Gabriel, the City of San Gabriel, and the City of Temple City.

Cost Estimate:- Total Project Cost: $12,986,000 - Express Lane Net Toll: $3,100,000 - Metro Grant MSP: $1,990,000

Economic Impact:Project construction supports 56 direct and indirect jobs.

- Start of Construction – Sep 2028
