Workman Mill Road Landscaping

• Project Scope:
  The primary objective of this project is to plant vines along Workman Mill Road. The project includes: - Vine planting at the back of walk - Tree planting in existing tree wells
• Project Benefits:
  Improves the aesthetics along Workman Mill Road and inhibit graffiti by covering up exposed block walls.
• Community Engagement:
  Multiple community meetings have been scheduled. A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided just after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.
• Project Location:
  Unincorporated County community of Avocado Heights and North Whittier - Workman Mill Rd from 900 feet south of Coleford Avenue to 1800 feet south of Valley Boulevard.
• Cost Estimate:
  - Total Project: $1,500,000 - Construction: $900,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 10 direct and indirect jobs.
• Schedule:
  - Advertise for Construction – May 2020
  - Start of Construction – Oct 2020
  - End of Construction – Feb 2021
