East Los Angeles Monument Improvements

• Project Scope:
  The primary objective of this project is to make improvements that will increase the visibility of the welcome to East Los Angeles Monuments. The design will incorporate and celebrate the community of East Los Angeles.
• Project Benefits:
  Improves quality of life for residents by beautifying the community.
• Community Engagement:
  The project team conducted a community workshop where they presented various design alternatives and gathered feedback to inform the final design. Additionally, a community meeting was held on March 30, 2024, to share project updates and address questions from residents. Also, a project information flyer was distributed in July 2025.
• Project Location:
  Unincorporated County community of East Los Angeles.
• Cost Estimate:
  - Total Project: $2,600,000 - Construction: $1,350,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 8 direct and indirect jobs.
• Schedule:
  - Advertise for Construction – Dec 2024
  - Start of Construction – Jul 2025
