Project Scope:The primary objective of this project is to resurface 4.2 miles of major and secondary roads. The project includes the following proposed work: - Parkway improvements - Curb ramps upgrade - Pavement resurface -Traffic signal upgrades

Project Benefits:This project will reduce road noise for residents and lessen wear and tear on vehicles. This project will also help to preserve natural resources by using recycled and in-place materials, resulting in cost savings and reduction in greenhouse gas, energy, and landfill deposition.

Community Engagement:A post card introducing the community to the project ill be sent out in March of 2024. A community meeting will be held in the summer of 2024 after the board approval. Approximately 4 weeks before the start of construction an in-person community meeting will take place.

Project Location:Various roadways within the Unincorporated Community of West Puente Valley.

Cost Estimate:- Total Project: $6,412,979.00 - Construction: $3,922,715.00

Economic Impact:Project construction supports 39 direct and indirect jobs.
