Hacienda Heights Community - Leticia Drive et al Phase II

  • Project Scope:
    The primary objective of this project is to reconstruct 5.8 miles of residential roads. Additional work includes: - Maintenance of existing street trees - Repair damaged sidewalks and driveway aprons - Curb ramp upgrades - Update median landscaping along Del Prado Drive and Avalo Drive
  • Project Benefits:
    Project benefits include the reduction of future maintenance costs through the improvements of existing facilities. Sustainable construction methods and materials will reduce emissions from material hauling activities and through the installation of cement stabilized base and rubberized asphalt pavement. This project will also improve quality of life for residents and lessen wear and tear on vehicles.
  • Community Engagement:
    Project status update mailers will be distributed in May and November 2024 to the residential community within the project limits. A community meeting will be held prior to the start of construction.

    Various roadways within the Unincorporated Community of Hacienda Heights.

    - Total Project: $11,900,000 - Construction: $7,200,000
  • Economic Impact:
    - Overall industry production value: $12,200,000 - Labor income: $3,900,000 - No. of jobs created: 37.1
  • Schedule:
    - Final Plans – Spring 2025
    - Advertise for Construction Bids – Fall 2025
    - Start of Construction – Early 2026
