Altadena - Altadena Dr and Washington Blvd Roadway Improvement

• Project Scope:
  The primary objective of this project is to reconstruct 2.0 miles of major roadways. The project includes the following proposed work: - Parkway improvements - Curb ramps upgrades - Roadway reconstruction - Traffic signal modifications and associated striping modifications
• Project Benefits:
  This project will improve quality of life for residents and lessen wear and tear on vehicles. This project will also help to preserve natural resources by using recycled and in-place materials, resulting in cost savings and reduction in greenhouse gas, energy, and landfill deposition.
• Community Engagement:
  A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided just after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.
• Project Location:
  Various roadways within the unincorporated County community of Altadena.
• Cost Estimate:
  - Total Project: $7,700,000 - Construction: $4,120,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 51 direct and indirect jobs.
• Schedule:
  - Advertise for Construction – Nov 2023
  - Start of Construction – May 2024
