Covina Islands - Arrow Hwy at Lark Ellen Av

• Project Scope:
  The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Arrow Highway and Lark Ellen Avenue. The work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of video/radar detection, upgrade traffic signals, and revise existing striping.
• Project Benefits:
  When properly used, traffic signals are valuable devices for the control of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. They provide for the orderly movement of traffic and may reduce the frequency and severity of certain type of collisions.
• Community Engagement:
  A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided shortly after the project has been awarded and prior to start of construction.
• Project Location:
  This project is located at the intersection of Arrow Highway and Lark Ellen Avenue in the County of Los Angeles, Unincorporated Covina.
• Cost Estimate:
  Total Project: $2,500,000 Engineer Estimate: $1,500,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 18.60 direct and indirect jobs.
