Canyon Country - Sand Canyon Rd - Sierra Hwy to 4500ft NO Soledad Cyn Rd

• Project Scope:
  Install curve advisory signs in accordance with current California Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices requirements to enhance safety along Sand Canyon Road. The project will update existing signing along the road including installing advance curve advisory speed signs and arrows for horizontal curves where applicable.
• Project Benefits:
  This signing project will enhance motorists' awareness of approaching curves in the roadway and the advisory speeds at which negotiating the curves are recommended.
• Community Engagement:
  A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided shortly after the project has been awarded and prior to start of construction.
• Project Location:
  This project is located near the County of Los Angeles unincorporated community of Canyon Country. It begins at 4500 feet north of Soledad Canyon Road to Sierra Highway. The length of the project is approximately 1.2 miles.
• Cost Estimate:
  Total Project: $500,000.00 Construction: $350,000.00
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 4.3 direct and indirect jobs.
