Project Scope:The objective of this project consists various traffic signal improvements, including upgrading standards, master arms, and vehicle heads at the intersections of Workman Mill Road at Lomitas Avenue, Covina Boulevard at Hollenbeck Avenue and Cypress Street at Vincent Avenue.

Project Benefits:When properly used, traffic signals are valuable devices for the control of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. They provide for the orderly movement of traffic and may reduce the frequency and severity of certain type of collisions.

Community Engagement:A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided shortly after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.

Project Location:This project is at the intersections of Workman Mill Road at Lomitas Avenue in the unincorporated County community of North Whittier and Covina Boulevard at Hollenbeck Avenue and Cypress Street at Vincent Avenue in the unincorporated County community of Covina in Supervisorial District No. 1.

Cost Estimate:- Total Project: $3,500,000 - Construction: $1,600,000

Economic Impact:Project construction supports 19.8 direct and indirect jobs.
