Azusa - Barranca Av at Baseline Rd

• Project Scope:
  The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing traffic signal on Barranca Avenue at Baseline Road.
• Project Benefits:
  When properly used, traffic signals are valuable devices for the control of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. They provide for the orderly movement of traffic and may reduce the frequency and severity of certain type of collisions
• Community Engagement:
  A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided shortly after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.
• Project Location:
  This project is at the intersection of Barranca Avenue and Baseline Road in the unincorporated County community of Azusa in Supervisorial District No. 1 & No. 5.
• Cost Estimate:
  Total Project: $1,200,000 Construction: $441,900
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 5.50 direct and indirect jobs.
• Schedule:
  - Final Plans – Spring 2025
  - Advertise for Construction Bids – Spring 2026
  - Start of Construction – Spring 2027
