Stevenson Ranch - The Old Road at Valencia Blvd

• Project Scope:
  Installation of continental crosswalk on channelized right turn located at eastern approach of Valencia Boulevard. Installation of Yield Markings, R1-5, W11-2, W16-7P, Type K-1 (CA) and R3-7 posts. Installation of chevrons on edge line. Upgrade of all crosswalks to continental at intersection.
• Project Benefits:
  When installed, the marked crosswalk in conjunction with proposed yield markings and signage will provide pedestrians with increased protection and alert motorist of the crossing point. When installed, Continental Crosswalks will provide pedestrians with higher visibility when crossing increasing pedestrian safety.
• Community Engagement:
  A project information flyer and a pre-construction brochure will be provided shortly after the project has been awarded and a week prior to start of construction, respectively.

  The project is at the intersection of Valencia Boulevard at the Old Road
• Cost Estimate:
  Total Project: $520,000 Construction: $250,000
• Economic Impact:
  Project construction supports 3.10 direct and indirect jobs.
