Florence-Firestone - Crockett Blvd at 81st St

• Project Scope:
  The objective of this project is to install curb extensions with flexible posts and raised markers at the intersection of Crockett Boulevard at 81st Street.
• Project Benefits:
  The proposed intersection improvements will curb excess speeding and intersection takeovers.
• Community Engagement:
  In October 2021, Lilly O'Brien, Senior Deputy, Infrastructure and Transportation at LA County's Office of Supervisor Holly J. Mitchell, contacted Public Works on behalf of a constituent to evaluate measures to curb excess speeding along Crockett Boulevard from 83rd Street to Nadeau Street. Staff conducted a study of these concerns and provided their recommendation.
