Project Scope:The objective of this project is to install approximately 1240 feet of guardrail on Malibu Canyon Road approximately 1 mile north of Francisco Ranch Road.

Project Benefits:A guardrail is a highway feature that is designed primarily to reduce the severity of a run-off road type collision. It may also redirect an errant vehicle and dissipate energy from a collision in some cases. It may reduce collision severity for a motorist in situations where it is determined that striking the guardrail is less severe than running off the road onto a steep embankment.
