Project Scope:The Hawthorne Boulevard TSSP Project from Imperial Highway to Manhattan Beach Boulevard is a multi-jurisdictional traffic signal synchronization and intersection operational improvement project involving 19 traffic signals which will improve the mobility and safety along the route. The project's goals are to: - Upgrade various traffic signal components and vehicle/pedestrian detection at various locations within the cities of Lawndale and Hawthorne. - Synchronize the traffic signals along the project limits.

Project Benefits:The project will significantly enhance the safety and flow of traffic along Hawthorne Boulevard and will reduce vehicle greenhouse gases and fuel consumption.
