Conversion technologies are sophisticated processes capable of converting post-recycled residual solid waste into renewable energy and fuels as well as other beneficial products. The Task Force oversees solid waste management policy in the County of Los Angeles, and is comprised of representatives from local government, the solid waste management and recycling industry, and members of the general public, the business sector, and environmental organizations.
