Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Question:
Do you have guidelines for watering? Please help us figure out how to water our lawn efficiently.

Answer:
Making sure your sprinklers water your lawn efficiently is the best way to conserve water around your home. Check your system weekly for leaking, clogged or broken sprinkler heads. Make sure they are properly aimed to water your plants and not the street or sidewalk. We recommend watering your lawn for no more than 10 minutes per day two to three times per week depending on where you live. You should also water between 2:00 am and 6:00 am to prevent evaporation. During winters where we get normal amounts of rain, you should be able to turn off your sprinklers altogether.
