How many times a year, can Los Angeles County residents dispose of household hazardous waste and electronic waste and at what locations?

Answer:
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW), such as paint, oil, and cleaners and Electronic Waste (E-Waste) such as computers, TV, and stereos are collected throughout Los Angeles County at the County's weekly HHW/E-Waste collection events, usually scheduled on Saturdays. For proper disposal, you may also utilize one of the permanent HHW/E-Waste collection centers operated by the City of Los Angeles.

You may use these services as often as needed. The services are free to Los Angeles County residents. Please note the transportation limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of chemical hazardous waste per trip.
