How does the County approve proprietary stormwater BMPs?

The County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works has developed a process to evaluate proprietary stormwater BMPs that the Department would use or maintain. The process requires the BMP vendor to complete an application that requests specific information regarding the product's maintainability, hydraulic and structural integrity, and pollutant removing capabilities.
