County code allows the use of vitrified clay pipe (VCP) or cast iron pipe (CIP) for sanitary sewer line. Other materials will require prior approval from the County. Design standards/guidelines may be acquired from Title 20 of the Los Angeles County Code and from the Private Contract Sanitary Sewer Procedural Manual.
