In many unincorporated communities, natural Christmas trees can be placed curbside, next to the recycling and waste containers on scheduled trash collection day(s) or taken to drop-off sites where the trees can be recycled. Please note:

WASTE MANAGEMENT (WM) CUSTOMERS:
- For residential and multifamily customers subscribing to services that include collection of waste in a metal bin, WM will collect Christmas trees, placed for collection during the period beginning December 26 and ending January 14, at no charge.
- For residential and multifamily customers subscribing to services that include collection of yard waste in a plastic cart, WM will collect Christmas trees, placed for collection during the period beginning January 2, 2024, and ending January 16, 2024, at no charge.
- For all other residential customers, there is the option of calling to schedule a curbside collection of their holiday tree for a fee.
BURRTEC WASTE INDUSTRIES CUSTOMERS:
- Burrtec will collect Christmas trees from its customers.

ALL RESIDENTS OF THE ANTELOPE VALLEY:
- WM offers two convenient and free holiday tree drop-off locations from December 26, 2023, through January 31, 2024:
- Antelope Valley Recycling and Disposal Facility: 1200 W. City Ranch Rd., Palmdale, CA 93551
- Lancaster Landfill and Recycling Center: 600 E. Avenue F, Lancaster, CA 93534
