County of Los Angeles Dept of Public Works is soliciting input from members of the public, organizations, and government agencies regarding the scope and content of the information to be included and analyzed in the Environmental Impact Report. The Initial Study is available for public review at View Park Library and County of Los Angeles Dept of Public Works; addresses are shown on the attached notice. Scoping comments should be sent to Public Works by December 15, 2012 (postmark date). The proposed project is located along Slauson Ave, extending approximately 0.4 miles from La Brea Ave in the unincorporated County of Los Angeles on the west to Angeles Vista Bl in the City of Los Angeles on the east. The primary objective of the project is to encourage revitalization of the area as a town center community through pedestrian improvements along Slauson Ave.
