PRIVATE CONTRACTOR ACCESS AUTHORIZATION

Property Owners in the unincorporated Los Angeles County fire burn areas who need to grant access for their contractor to get their property for the purpose of private property watershed mitigation efforts/protection, may apply for authorization here (Private Contractor Access Authorization). The authorization would allow for the law enforcement agency at the check points to know of contractor’s purpose for entering the area.

1. Resident will complete Private Contractor Access Authorization (PO fillable fields) and email to (ldd-fire@pw.lacounty.gov)
2. Resident will provide contractor’s vehicle information including license plate number, make and model in the email to (ldd-fire@pw.lacounty.gov)
3. County Public Works will verify property ownership
4. County Public Works will sign and date Private Contractor Access Authorization form/placard
5. County Public Works will reply to homeowner via email with the signed Private Contractor Access Authorization in the same business day from email submittal by homeowner
6. County Public Works will retain completed Private Contractor Access Authorization electronically. File to be labeled by address number followed by street name
