Our mission is to be good stewards of the County’s road system by treating the right roads with the right treatment at the right time and the right way. We want to ensure the pavement treatment we select is long lasting. We know that road construction causes disruptions to the daily lives of County residents so one of the objectives of this website is to provide our residents with timely information about what we are doing with the road, what to expect during and after road construction so that we can minimize any inconvenience to your day-to-day activities.

This website will also provide information on different pavement treatments the Department applies– such as what and how each treatment is constructed. We recognize that road construction also has an impact on the environment and we are very excited to share that some of the approaches we are using to treating our roads are “green” and less taxing to our environment. We are continually learning about various “green” technologies and plan to implement them wherever we can.
