Americans with Disabilities Act

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a civil rights law that provides people with disabilities equal access to state and local government programs, activities, and services.

Los Angeles County Public Works ensures compliance with ADA Title II, and does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the admission and access to its services, programs, or activities. Public Works will provide reasonable accommodations upon request to people with disabilities.

If you have questions, concerns, complaints, or requests regarding accessibility for people with disabilities related to Los Angeles County Public Works services, programs, or facilities, please contact the ADA Title II Coordinator at (626) 979-5333 or ADAinquiries@dpw.lacounty.gov between the hours of 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Please include with the following information:

  • Your name
  • Address of concern
  • Brief description
  • Phone number and email address
  • Pictures (if possible) if contacting through e-mail
