Project Summary
In response to requests received from the community, Public Works completed a traffic study to address speeding concerns on Slauson Avenue (Frontage Road) between La Cienega Boulevard and La Tijera Boulevard in the unincorporated community of Ladera Heights. The traffic study included field observations, a review of the collision history on file with the California Highway Patrol, a review of existing signage, and an analysis of vehicular speeds and volumes on Slauson Avenue (Frontage Road).
Based on this study, Public Works determined that Slauson Avenue (Frontage Road) between La Cienega Boulevard and La Tijera Boulevard is a viable candidate for the installation of speed cushions to help reduce vehicular speed along this road.
