What is sewer annexation?
Sewer Annexation is the process of including your property into the Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District for the purpose of maintaining and repairing the public sewer system.
Why is sewer annexation needed?
Your property is served by or has access to a public sewer line. The public sewers must be properly operated and maintained to protect the health and safety of your community. The addition will include a sewer service charge, the amount is based on the land use code assigned by Los Angeles County Assessor's Office. The annual charge will be added to your annual property tax bill.
