Recycling Resources for K–8 Schools
The Youth for Environmental Sustainability (YES) Toolkit is a resource to assist K-8 schools in complying with state recycling laws by implementing new or enhancing existing waste reduction and recycling programs. The YES Toolkit encourages participation from students, teachers, and parents; and it is a valuable resource that helps improve staff efficiency, provides interdisciplinary lesson plans, and model programs to learn about environmental sustainability in schools. In addition to K-8 schools, resources are also available to high schools and colleges/universities to assist them with successful implementation of campus-wide recycling programs. Learn more by clicking this link to access the High School and College Campus Toolkit.
