Annual Service Fee Increase for Sewer Services

Costs to operate and maintain the sewer system have continued to increase since sewer service fees in the Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District (CSMD) were last adjusted in 2014. To continue funding essential operations and maintenance services of the county’s sewer system and keep pace with rising inflation, Public Works has increased the annual fee for its sewer services in 2025.

Increased Service Fee

In 2024, Public Works conducted a comprehensive Fee Study to determine new customer fees to cover the cost of system operations and maintenance for the next five years. The approved service fee increases will ensure longevity and effectiveness of the system.
