Summer 2012 – IEN v3.0 to be released
Version 3 of the IEN software will include the following new features:
- Support for XML-based IEN TCS Interfaces
- Additional location data for arterial detectors
- Support for Windows 2008 and Windows 7 operating systems
September 2011 – Alhambra joins the IEN
The city of Alhambra has connected their TransCore TransSuite traffic control system to the IEN.
December 2010 – Beverly Hills joins the IEN
The city of Beverly Hills has connected their Kimley-Horn KITS traffic control system to the IEN.
September 2010 – Freeway data added to the IEN
Freeway congestion and event data is now available to member agencies.
September 2010 – IEN data provided to RIITS
RIITS has connected to the IEN Web Service to acquire data from IEN member agencies.
August 2010 – Santa Clarita joins the IEN
The city of Santa Clarita has connected their McCain QuicNet traffic control system to the IEN.
December 2009 – Gardena joins the IEN
The city of Gardena has connected their McCain QuicNet traffic control systems to the IEN.
September 2009 – Downey joins the IEN
The city of Downey has connected their Siemens I2 traffic control systems to the IEN.
August 2009 – Diamond Bar joins the IEN
The city of Diamond Bar has connected their TransCore TransSuite traffic control system to the IEN.
November 19, 2007 – Arcadia joins the IEN
The city of Arcadia has connected their TransCore TransSuite traffic control systems to the IEN.
September 27, 2007 – LADOT joins the IEN
Data from the Los Angeles Department of Transportation’s traffic control system is now available on the IEN. The initial connection supports 2500 LADOT intersections. Additional intersections and over 10,000 system detectors will be added when IEN version 2 is released later this year.
September 27, 2007 – IEN software v1.10 has been released
Version 1.10 of the IEN software is now available. This version includes LADOT to IEN interface software.
