Sewer System Management Plan

The Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) implementation is integrated into our overall operation and maintenance program which is predicated on complying with the 11 elements of the SSMP with the goal of minimizing sewer overflows. The primary measure of the effectiveness of the SSMP is sewer overflow performance, which include:

  • Spills Impacting Surface Waters: Number of Spills and Spill Volume Reaching Surface Waters
  • Spills Impacting Surface Waters: Number of Spills and Spill Volume Reaching Surface Waters
  • High-Volume Spill Events: Number of High-Volume Spill Events and associated spill Volume

Annual Reports

We are pleased to provide our annual reports to improve customer service and let you know how your money is being spent; we are happy to provide our Annual Reports. This report describes our district facilities and summarizes work accomplished by our staff during the past year.
 
Additional information on how a sewer system works, typical sanitary sewer problems, and tips on how to help prevent them are also included. These are just a few ways to make the sewer system operate efficiently. Our goal is to minimize maintenance costs, and to save you money.

Sewer Service Rates

Sewer service charge rates support the operation, maintenance, and rehabilitation of the public sewer system and its associated treatment plants, as well as sewage disposal costs.

In the Fiscal years beginning July 1, 2028 and July 1, 2029, the sewer service charge will be adjusted based on Consumer Price Index (CPI) as reflected in the Ordinance adopted by the Board of Supervisors on June 24, 2025

In addition to paying the Consolidated Sewer Maintenance District sewer service charge, the nine special service zones below pay an additional charge based on services received
