Important Notice: Action Required for Your Auto Pay
Effective January 20, 2024, all saved payment profiles have been reset to ensure continued, reliable, and secured payment processing.
Dear Valued Los Angeles County Waterworks Districts Customer:
We would like to inform you of a change that will impact your saved payment profile and Auto Pay settings on our customer bill payment website, MyWAM.
What’s Changing?
Los Angeles County’s payment processor is changing the way they connect with our customer bill payment website. As part of this change, all currently saved payment profiles will be reset on January 18, 2024, and customers currently enrolled in Auto Pay will need to reenroll on MyWAM on or after January 19, 2024. After reenrolling, your Auto Pay service will be active within two billing cycles. Please continue to pay your bills until you see “You are enrolled in AUTO PAY” on your bill.
Action Required:
To continue enjoying the convenience of Auto Pay, we kindly ask you to take the following steps on or after January 19, 2024:
- Log into your account at https://dpw.lacounty.gov/mywam/.
- Click on Auto Pay, resave your payment type, and click “Enroll in Auto Pay”.
- Continue to pay your bills manually until you see “You are enrolled in AUTO PAY” on the bill.

Detailed Steps
- Log into your account:
- Visit our website at https://dpw.lacounty.gov/mywam/
- Log into your account using your username and password
- Click on Auto Pay, resave your payment type, and click “Enroll in Auto Pay:
- Click “Auto Pay”
- Agree to the Terms of Auto Pay and click “I have read and agreed to the Term of Use”
- Enter your password and click “I would like to enroll into Auto Pay”
- Select your preferred payment method (Checking Account or Credit Card)
- Click “Add a new Checking Account”, or
- Click “Add a new Credit Card”
- Add Payment Method details and click “Add”
- Select Payment Profile and click “Enroll into Auto Pay”
- Continue to pay your bills until you see “You are enrolled in AUTO PAY” on the bill:
- Click “Make a Payment”
- Agree to the Terms of Payment and click “I have read and agreed to the Terms of Payment”
- Enter your password and click “Next”
- Select Payment Method and click “Next”
- Enter Payment Amount and click “Next”
- On payment confirmation page, click “Complete”
