Los Angeles County Aviation Commission

General Information

The 10-member LA County Aviation Commission serves to advise the County Board of Supervisors regarding the operation and development of the County’s five-airport system. The airports included are Brackett Field Airport in La Verne, Compton/Woodley Airport in Compton, San Gabriel Valley Airport in El Monte, General William J. Fox Airfield in Lancaster, and Whiteman Airport in Pacoima. No County-owned airport is located within the 4th District.

Commission meetings are held monthly, except in July and December, at the various County airports. Each meeting offers an opportunity to learn about the projects and activities occurring at the airports and to provide public comment.
