Whiteman Airport Projects

Overview

Runway 12-30 and Taxiways Crack & Slurry Seal [Design]

The project includes the design for crack sealing, slurry seal, and pavement markings of approximately 4,120 linear feet of Runway 12-30 and approximately 6,656 linear feet of Taxiway A and connector taxiways B, C, D, and E.

Current Status:

• Anticipate receiving FAA Airport Improvement Grant funding in the amount of $337,403
• FAA grant application submitted for the design phase
• Design is anticipated to begin following receipt of FAA grant funding

Midfield Aircraft Runup Area [Design & Construction]

The project includes the design and construction for the relocation and reconfiguration of the runup areas to include one central runup area.

Current Status:

• Design work was completed on June 2024
• Under review with FAA TechOps
