Ramp/Apron Pavement Rehabilitation

Public Works engaged a consulting firm in April 2017 for the design phase of the rehabilitation of the south and north ramp/apron areas on the airport.  Work will be consistent with Public Work's formal Airport Pavement Maintenance Program (PMP) for the County-owned airports which will include priority ratings for repair or replacement of various airport pavements depending on Pavement Condition Index (PCI).  Construction is anticipated to include in-place pulverization of asphalt concrete, soil stabilization, grading and drainage, compaction, asphalt overlay, tie down areas, and striping of the entire paved apron areas.  Public Works  may be soliciting Requests for Proposals for the construction phase 1 (North Ramp) of the project in Summer 2018.
